All the news that is the news from around the corner to around the globe.
This just in from Cyprus:

This last page on the right is the scene where Rarity (in hair curlers [!]) says, "Discord would never agree."
And Twi's line is, "Don't be too sure; this thing is so off-the-wall it might appeal to his demented sense of humor."
And I absolutely adore the look on Shy's face (center bottom) when she has her epiphany: "We can make it a double wedding." New speech bubble: "With Celestia presiding to make sure there are no hard feelings; the network will love it!"
P.S. Xenya's birthday is May 3; she's going out of town on April 29 for two weeks, so you might want to wish her a happy birthday before she leaves.

First of all, all this is set hundreds of millions of years in the far future; humans have evolved to the point where any person can appear as he or she so desires, if at all. The records of the past have been lost to antiquity; many of the works scholarship knows today (which we take for granted) are in the hands of private collectors, some of whom jealously guard their own stash. So one day something about mlp:fim surfaces and this group of people can't figure out what the devil it was. Finally a consensus is reached that the whole mlp:fim thing must have been some kind of religion. So every person in this community assumes the persona of a character from MLP and they play out various storylines just for their own bemusement. 

The network has taken the show (imagine a reality-TV type series filming all this in real time) off the air because it was getting way too explicit; also Equestria has occupied Griffonland for some time now. Rarity (who has been royal consort to Queen Shy in occupied Griffonland in the meanwhile) has to make a decision that is not easy.
